Sales Kickoff is an employee-only event. You may not invite or bring guests including spouses, partners, children, etc.
If you choose to bring guests on a trip it can only be after the SKO has ended and any expenses (hotel, food, etc) incurred after, will not be covered by the Company.
All RSVPs must be received by February 10th! Please make sure your RSVP is on time to secure your spot on the April trip.
All flights have already been booked & finalized, you will receive your ticket confirmation from Dekal Ezri.
- By now you have received the invite from Adi, you must register by 2/10/2022. If you do not register, you will not have a hotel room. If you are departing early, please note that in your registration form.
- Workiz has booked a room block for you at the Hard Rock Los Cabos, checking in on 4/4/2022 and checking out 4/7/2022. Please do not book an additional room for yourself for the days of the event.
- People Managers are approved for 1-night early arrival so your room is booked and covered by Workiz 4/3/2022 – 4/7/2022.
- US Team your approved arrival day will be listed on your invite email (4/4/22).
- For all employees, any additional post extension nights you will need to cover personally (please do not expense).
- If your flight plans need to change, please email Dekel immediately.
- Flight tickets are booked from San Diego International Airport (SD) or the closest international airport to you (remote).
- You will be reimbursed for 1 (one) checked bag only in addition to your carry-on luggage.
- Reminder that you will be flying into the Los Cabos Airport (SJD)
If you choose, you can stay after the SKO ends on 4/7/22, all additional hotel nights will be your responsibility and should not be expensed. These are based on hotel's availability. You will also be responsible for your airport transfer costs. The cost for single occupancy is $450 per night. For two guests in one room the cost is $509 per guest, per night .
To book additional nights at the hotel in April 2022, please include the check-in/check-out dates on your registration form under the Special Requests tab. Once Executive Group Travel confirms your extension, you have 72 hours to cancel those nights. After 72 hours, any cancelled nights will be billed back to you through payroll.
For your additional nights at the Hotel, if you would like to share a room with another Workiz employee please make sure both of you pick the appropriate dates on the registration calendar and in the special requests field of registration include the request to room with your co-worker and list their name.

Yes, round-trip transportation is provided to and from the hotel for all those arriving starting 4/3 and 4/4 to the Hotel and those departing up until 4/7 from the Hotel. If you are staying at an alternate hotel after that you are responsible for your own airport transfer for that one-way.
Flights leaving at 9am on 4/4/22, transportation to the hotel will arrive at the airport around 1:30pm, we will all be traveling to the hotel together on one bus.
Upon arrival, after passing through customs, you will proceed to the exit that says “Groups or Pre-Arranged Transportation”
IT IS IMPORTANT to note you must proceed all the way outdoors without stopping inside the Terminals. Timeshare reps within the terminals are extremely persistent, and should be avoided so continue outside so you don't miss the shuttle/bus. Once you are outside the terminal, please head to UMBRELLA 7 to meet the AMSTAR staff holding a Workiz sign.
Departures on 4/7/22 - The airport shuttle will be picking everyone up from the hotel at 11am. Be sure you are ready, packed and out front of the hotel in order to get on the shuttle. At check out, you will be provided with a hotel checkout card, which you will need to provide to the bellman in order to depart the hotel.
Missed flights are your responsibility! So be on time.
If you do not take the Company provided transportation, you will be responsible for covering those alternate transportation costs out of pocket.
If you are staying at an alternate hotel after our Kickoff, you are responsible for your own airport transportation for that one-way
The hotel is an all-inclusive resort - so no expenses during the dates of the SKO or dates after will be reimbursed. The only expense that will be reimbursed is your round-trip transportation from your house to the local airport (taxi, uber, parking).
- For meetings, please no swimwear, cover-ups or beachwear.
- For evening events, the temperature drops during the evening hours; please pack a sweatshirt or sweater as needed.
At check-in you will need to present three important things:
- Passport - Valid Passport that does not expire for at least 3 months from the day you depart to Mexico.
- Credit Card - The hotel will ask for you to provide a credit card for incidentals (additional charges such as spa, personal trainer at the gym, or bottles of wine). Please be aware they will put a hold on that credit card at check-in then release the hold 24 hours after check-out. We recommend providing a credit card over a debit card as the debit card will actually debit funds for the hold, then redeposit them after your stay.
- Other- Bottom portion of your immigration form (tourist card) - Reminder please keep the bottom portion of your immigration form as you will need to provide this to the hotel at check-in. You may also be reimbursed for 1 checked bag.
- Pre & Post SKO - A negative COVID test result once you leave the hotel after the SKO has ended. The Hard Rock offers free antigen testing prior to your departure. If you need additional testing, we will reimburse you for the cost of the COVID test as well.
Yes, a valid passport is required to travel to Mexico. Your passport must be valid on 7/7/2022 or later. If your passport expires before 4/4/2022, please renew it as soon as possible. You may need to expedite any passport renewal to ensure you receive your new passport before Kickoff. Passport renewals may not be expensed to Workiz.
Visa's are not required for US passport holders to travel to Mexico. For alternate passport holders, Visa assistance can be found on the CIBT visa site listed under the Tools Tab in Egencia. If you are connecting through a foreign country, please ensure you have the appropriate documents.
All updates will be communicated to you as soon as possible through email and the Kickoff app (Travefy). Kickoff is a dynamic and lively event, and last-minute changes to the schedule can and do occur. The event staff and the Workiz leadership team will make every effort to communicate those changes through quick “housekeeping” updates between sessions and/or with updates to any signage at the event.
